GRMFC WINS STROKE RECOVERY CUP

By July 13, 2021No Comments
GRMFC won the inaugural STROKE RECOVERY CUP, defeating BANKSTOWN UNITED FC with the goal scored by match MVP, Daniel Rigby.
On behalf of the club, I would like to thank the communities of both GRMFC and BANKSTOWN UNITED FC for the wonderful support provided to us during this journey. In particular, George – GRMFC & Dimitri – Bankstown United FC have provided the organiser with outstanding support & no interference. This has been a perfect example of two clubs working together towards achieving a common goal, and we have achieved that goal – more people are aware of strokerecovery.rehab. In turn, more stroke survivors can be assisted with their rehab.
Thank you also to the many volunteers who helped on the day – greatly appreciated.
A special thanks to our generous supporters of this initiative : FNSW, CLEAN SHEET Facebook Page, Bond Services, BRETT STEVENS – PHOTOGRAPHER, Cookie Collective by Georgia, Fruitful Tree, Christie Park Canteen, AUSFORCE, and SUMMIT, HEALTH & FITNESS.
Also thank you to Sergio and the coaches and players for their help today.
FINALLY, thank you all for attending today and providing your support. It was a hectic day but I got great enjoyment out of being stopped by random parents, who introduced themselves and proceeded to tell me that this was the only FIRST GRADE game that they ever attended, and they loved it – promising to be back.
A GREAT DAY!
