After a Stroke - Eating Hint by Victoria
In a previous video, we outlined what should be eaten and what should not, in order to sustain a healthy and active lifestyle.Further to that, a stroke can affect the use of one side of a person’s body, including the face. This has a direct impact of how food can be eaten and swallowed. Although, in general, anything can be eaten, lumpy or large pieces of food may be hard to swallow and can cause coughing fits or choking. It is therefore important that the food is appropriately mashed up to a level that can be easily swallowed.
As always reduce or cut out the amount of smoking and alcohol intake.
Eat Well Be Healthy.

and everyone has a different journey.
